Chad Cantrell's BioTactical
Defensive Concepts founder Chad Cantrell is a native of
Livingston, TN. He began his martial arts career at |

| Cantrell's
father was the person that introduced him into the world of
firearms. It was his uncle, Sam Allen, former Green Beret and
Korean War vet that began to teach him what would become the
foundation of Tactical Defensive Concepts. Chad continued to train in the martial arts, studying the arts of Hapkido, Kenpo, Karate, Aikido, Military systems, civilian self defense courses, and more with various Instructors. He was one of the first people ever to attain the rank of Master in the art of Taekwondo at the age of 18. |

| Throughout
his self defense career, Cantrell has trained with and taught
several former and current Marines, police, NRA instructors, IDPA
competitors, and anyone else that he could learn something from,
including his mentor, Master Gordon Dixon.
In 1997,
Cantrell opened a training business for martial artists and combat enthusiasts.
It was during this period that he began incorporating tactical
firearms training into the martial arts and self defense programs
that he was teaching. Currently, Cantrell is running the International Tactical Martial Arts Federation, a martial arts organization dedicated to bringing quality service to martial artists around the world. Tactical Defensive Concepts is a martial art that is based on the self defense/tactical use of firearms so that firearms enthusiasts can receive the training that they need with prices and availability that they can afford. Cantrell is also consulting and offering courses to the public, as well as his Combat Success products and coaching. | |
